Data Analyst / Developer (Consultant)-Fixed Term Contract (JHB Illovo)

Purpose of this role:
- To support the Digital Advisory team by developing software solutions, performing data analytics, and delivering insights through data visualization. The role combines technical development with analytical problem-solving to support business decision-making and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end, back-end, and integration layer software applications.
- Perform advanced data analytics and create dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Conduct system reviews, business analysis, and performance evaluations of applications.
- Execute quality assurance through testing scripts and procedures.
- Recommend and implement system and process improvements.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems and applications.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, departmental growth, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in:
- Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Statistics, Informatics, or a related field.
- Accounting or Finance (advantageous).
Experience:

2–5 years of experience in:
- Data analytics
- System audit reviews
- Software development or programming
