Purpose of the role:
This role will provide the opportunity to help shape customers online journeys through the identification of improvements across the entire digital estate. As the role is fundamental to driving improved engagement and strategic enhancements, the successful applicant must have a strong desire to solve customer pain-points using data. You must be able to align others towards common goals through a focus on data-driven decisions, which allow the organisation to prioritise meaningful change and quantify the relative improvement of potential changes. Understanding which KPIs matter the most is fundamental to the successful applicant helping to enrich our users’ gaming experiences and so you must have an analytical and inquisitive mindset. You should be comfortable with setting up your own KPIs, running your own experiments through A/B testing and helping to pinpoint improvements and accurately predict the impact of changes through a solid understanding of business information and data. You must be comfortable with analysing large amounts of data, creating recommendations and communicating them with stakeholders to enable them to optimise their customer journeys.
You will be responsible for:
Partnering closely with both internal and external Product teams to identify and prioritise improvement across Betway’s customer journeys.
Defining metrics and KPIs to monitor performance across digital journeys.
Building dashboards to visualise performance of product features and journeys to enable stakeholders across the business to identify pain points and areas of improvement.
Effectively communicating (written and verbal) findings through BI dashboards with recommendations on product strategies to leadership and wider stakeholders.
Obsession to optimise journeys through A/B testing with a laser focus on metrics that will bring the most value to the business.
Collaborating across departments to help support a data-driven approach to life cycle management e.g. acquisition channel optimization, retention strategies and cross-selling products.

You will have (Essential skills):
Experience with SQL
Experience with visualisation tools eg PowerBI, Tableau etc
Knowledge of web data and web data structures
Experience with experimentation and A/B testing in either a product or marketing environment
Ability to approach ambiguous tasks in a logical way with a commercial hat on
It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):
A strong understanding of tracking pixels and web tagging principles.
Experience with relational or non-relational database technologies.
Working with unstructured data and defining web data models.
Experience with – Spark/ Hadoop.
