What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver impactful data solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and integrations across diverse platforms.
• Support production and non-production database systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Create and maintain reusable data products and domains.
• Build robust pipelines to ingest data into modern data platforms, using CI/CD principles and best practices.
• Write efficient queries and optimize database structures for performance.
• Enable analytics, business intelligence, and machine learning initiatives by ensuring data quality and accessibility.
• Assist in model development, preprocessing, feature engineering, and MLOps implementation.
• Uphold data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Document data solutions and processes for internal use and training.
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous learning.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in data and AI.

What We’re Looking For:

• A relevant degree or qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience working with key data platforms (e.g. SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, RDS).
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS data and analytics tools (S3, Athena, Glue, RDS, Redshift, Lake Formation, Lambda, SageMaker, etc.).
• Exposure to AI platforms (AWS AI, Azure AI, Google AI, OpenAI, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
• Deep understanding of data system design, development, and operational best practices.
