Data Engineer at Salt South Africa

• Our client is looking for a technically sharp Data Engineer to help build the future of their data ecosystem.
• You won’t be a small part of a big machine, you’ll own meaningful problems, architect core data infrastructure, and directly enable their compliance.

What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain clean, reliable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Design and shape our new enterprise data warehouse
• Lay the groundwork for ML & AI initiatives
• Collaborate with business + tech to deliver scalable data solutions

What we’re looking for:

• 3-5 years’ experience in data engineering
• Strong Python + SQL/PostgreSQL skills
• Hands‑on AWS experience (S3, Lambda, RDS)
• Exposure to LLM/AI APIs
