Introduction

Our client one of South Africa's leading health care companies based in Sunninghill is looking for a Data Quality Analyst.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The Data Quality Analyst will work alongside the Data Governance Analysts and business line data owners to ensure that data quality is monitored and sustainably improved over time in order to enable quality insights which support person centered health and care.
• As a specialist this individual will manage the quality, integrity and validity of data and is responsible for developing processes to ensure optimum data quality.
• Assist with research on development and trends for the Team Lead: Data Management.
• Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems.
• Monitor the quality of critical data over time using advanced analytical techniques.
• Identify data quality issues, evaluate for quality and accuracy and perform root cause analysis on
• these issues.
• Identify long term solutions to business processes and systems and ensure culture change alignment
• to ensure that any issues are sustainably resolved.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in the area of information management, information systems, computer sciences or a related field.
• DAMA or equivalent data management certification.
• 3 years’ experience working within the area of data analytics, business analytics, system analysis and data analysis.
• Experience in business process modelling.
• Strong technical ability in data modelling, design, SQL and analytics tools.
• Previous experience with data processing systems.
• Exposure to the health care industry is beneficial.
