Data Scientist – Machine Learning & AI at Salt South Africa

• They’re looking for a Data Scientist to build models and extract insights that directly influence business decisions.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models (classification, regression, clustering)
• Work with NLP and LLMs, including RAG pipelines and generative AI tools
• Conduct statistical analysis and experiments (A/B testing)
• Perform deep data analysis to uncover actionable insights
• Collaborate with engineering teams to bring models into production
• They’re looking for someone with strong experience in Python, SQL, machine learning, and statistics, with exposure to modern AI tools and frameworks.
