Debtors Clerk - Cape Town at Novus Holdings Ltd

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Debt collection
• Sending invoices to customers on time
• Calculating and allocate receipts to invoices
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Calculation of client discounts and rebates
• Managing the Accounts Receivable Age Analysis
• Identifying accounts to be handed over
• Assisting auditors with queries
• Maintaining relationship with customers and Account Executives
• Issuing credit notes/debit notes
• Overseeing new customers and credit applications
• Handling debtors queries
• Ad hoc invoicing
• Monthly reporting spreadsheets related to debtors
• General administrative tasks

Educational Requirements

• Grade 12 with mathematics and accounting is a prerequisite
• A financial certificate/diploma would be advantageous
• Experience Requirements
• Knowledge of MS Office Package is essential
• Knowledge of financial accounting packages such as Radius/Acumatica would be advantageous
• Extensive knowledge of debtor process and debt collecting with a proven track record in debtors’ collections
