    About the Role

    • You’ll work closely with commercial, marketing, and operational leaders to support decision-making, deliver performance insights, and drive profitable growth across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding what drives performance, translating numbers into stories, and influencing outcomes through data and insight.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as a trusted finance business partner to commercial and operational teams, providing insights that drive decision-making and performance.
    • Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
    • Deliver insightful monthly performance analysis, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Provide scenario modelling, pricing analysis, and investment appraisals to support commercial decisions.
    • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management clearly and effectively.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and decision support tools to improve visibility and control.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within financial planning and reporting.
    • Collaborate with Group Finance and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business and financial objectives.
    • Support and mentor junior team members, encouraging growth, development, and continuous learning.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
    • Ideally a qualified accountant (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) — but not essential.
    • Demonstrated experience in finance business partnering, decision support, or commercial finance.
    • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis within a commercial setting.
    • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, SQL, or ERP systems advantageous.
    • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    • High attention to detail, balanced with a strategic understanding of business drivers.
