Depot Supervisor Assistant at eThekwini Municipality

Job Purpose    

• To provide assistance to the Depot Supervisor in the control and movement of specialised tools,
• equipment and material and assist with general duties within the Depot Supervisor's area of control.

Key Responsibility Areas    

• Assisting with the issuing of specialised tools,hand tools,equipment,materials,consumables
• and gas cylinders to field staff.
• Receiving back previously issued specialised tools,equipment and materials.
• Collecting stores and materials ordered by the Depot Supervisor,or other staff member in
• preparation for pre-arranged work.
• Assisting the Depot Supervisor with general depot maintenance and house keeping.
• Performing other related duties as instructed by the Depot Supervisor and Management.

Essential Requirements    

• An appropriate level of primary education.
• 1 Month relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements    

• An appropriate level of secondary education.
• 3 Months relevant experience in tools and equipment utilised within the Electricity industry.
