    Desktop Support Technician

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to computer system users. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues, as well as providing excellent customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide first-level technical support and escalate unresolved queries.
    • Track, route, and redirect problems to the correct resources.
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues and advise users on appropriate actions.
    • Set up new user accounts, profiles, and configure workstations and applications.
    • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
    • Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks, ensuring security and privacy of systems.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and prepare timely reports.
    • Monitor, support, troubleshoot, and resolve operating issues to ensure connectivity and minimize downtime.
    • Provide support and technical setup at trade shows, including periodic travel, and ensure all global SLAs are met.

    Required Skills:

    • Proficiency in Windows environments.
    • Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
    • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
    • Ability to configure workstations/laptops.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues.
    • Basic understanding of software monitoring tools and backup procedures.
    • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) or Previous experience in a technical support role
