    Professional Mechanical Engineer

    What You Will Do:

    • Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering design for building services projects of significant scope and complexity.
    • Develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems aligned with sustainability and energy efficiency standards.
    • Provide technical direction across multiple building projects and disciplines.
    • Apply advanced engineering principles to deliver high-quality, compliant designs.
    • Guide project planning, definition, and execution phases.
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
    • Represent the firm in client meetings, industry events, and technical forums.
    • Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
    • Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and site inspections for building services.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc Eng / BEng / MSc Eng).
    • Registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with ECSA.
    • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in building mechanical systems design.
    • Demonstrated expertise in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy-efficient solutions for large-scale developments (e.g., universities, hotels, residential and commercial buildings).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and discipline-specific software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC design software).
    • Ability to interpret complex technical documents and communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.
