    Responsibilities

    • Achieving revenue targets and providing excellent customer experience.
    • Partnering with other Market Planning team members, developing and executing Africa FCC strategy, in alignment with global FCC priorities and the priorities of other functions across LNRS.
    • Identifying potential areas of growth for the FCC business across Africa and define strategy for accelerating revenue.  Developing M&A opportunities in line with global FCC and business services strategy.
    • Working closely with Product and Data teams to develop FCC Product strategies and roadmaps and associated business cases.
    • Partnering closely with Sales to win new business, expand existing relationships, and drive referrals.

    • Interacting with clients (both internal and external) to craft solutions that meet client needs, thereby increasing revenue and customer satisfaction. Clearly communicate global FCC strategy to the wider organisation in Africa.

    Senior Software Engineer II

    About the Role

    • As a Senior Software Engineer, you will undertake difficult research, design, and software development assignments within the French team. You will provide direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology in the setup, the development, and the tuning of a data analytics platform. You will perform architecture design - typically across multiple components; mentor more junior members of the team and work with others to talk to users/customers and translate their requests into solutions.

    Requirements

    • Have 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, especially in the distributed data transform and load platforms.
    • Have a BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
    • Have solid experience with various resource models such as Managed Services and/or Staff Augmentation. 
    • Be proficient with data manipulation language including optimization techniques, strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles.
    • Have expertise in development languages and technical stack including but not limited to: AWS Cloud (services: Lambda, S3, Redshift, DocumentDB, event Brigdge, SES, or SNS…), and Python (Java is a plus), 
    • Be familiar with distributed data analytics platforms such as Apache Spark or Databricks, Apache Flink and Databases e.g REDIS, Redshift, PostgreSQL, Graph DB, SQL, NoSQL, Apache Solr.
