Job Description

• CTP Cartons and Labels have an exciting opportunity for Die Cutter Operator to join the Cut & Crease team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for setting up and operating the die cutting machines to ensure products are cut accurately according to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.   

Job Requirements:

• Set up and operator Die Cutting machine in accordance with production requirements and work ticket specifications.
• Ensure finished products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
• Read and interpret work tickets and production documentation.
• Maximise productivity while minimising waste, downtime, and machine stoppages.
• Conduct routine machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance to ensure equipment remains in good working condition.
• Report machine faults or quality concerns promptly to the relevant supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
• Comply with all quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Work collaboratively with production staff to ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.

Minimum Skills Requirements:

• Trade certificate – Carton Maker
• 3 - 5 years' experience operating a die cutting machine in a manufacturing (packaging) environment.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to understand machine settings and adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to meet production targets and performance standards.
• Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and shifts when operational requirements demand.
