    Digital Marketing Specialist

    About the Role

    • Are you passionate about digital marketing and ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team and drive our digital marketing initiatives to new heights.
    • In this exciting role, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital marketing efforts, managing campaigns across multiple platforms, optimizing performance, and contributing to innovative marketing strategies that drive traffic and conversions.
    • This is role is based at our Cape Town office will report to the General Manager for Marketing and Subscriptions.

    What You’ll Do

    • Campaign Management & Execution Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns across Meta, Google, and other key platforms Set up and implement marketing campaigns with exceptional attention to detail and strict adherence to timelines Create compelling digital marketing materials to drive traffic and conversions
    • Performance Optimization & Analysis Continuously monitor and optimize campaign performance to maximize delivery and ROI Provide regular, insightful reporting on campaign performance to stakeholders Analyze diverse information sources to make data-driven decisions
    • Innovation & Best Practices Provide strategic advice on industry best practices Drive innovation and continuous improvement in digital marketing initiatives Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
    • Documentation & Organization Ensure all documentation and reports are stored in organized electronic filing systems Maintain accurate records of campaign performance and optimization strategies

    What We’re Looking For
    Essential Requirements

    • Education: Minimum Grade 12 (Digital marketing or related formal qualification preferred)
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years in online advertising/campaign administration in paid advertising environments
    • Platform Knowledge: Practical experience with all major digital marketing channels
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (essential)
    • SEO Proficiency: Extremely beneficial

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Basic HTML knowledge for Ad server management
    • Google and Meta platform certifications
    • Programmatic buying experience
    • Experience with various bidding strategies, including Real-Time Bidding (RTB)
