Domain Architect at Paracon

You will be responsible for strategically advising and driving the eCommerce strategy that underpins all business solutions, creating the architecture for these platforms, and leading the realisation of the architecture roadmap into the target state.

To apply, you need to have a Degree in Information Systems / BSc Computer Science (or similar) coupled with 7-10 years’ working experience within the IT industry.

You also need 5+ years’ experience in the following:

• All aspects of IT projects from business analysis, architectures, system analysis, and design through development, testing, implementation, and production support (SDLC);
• Design and architecture skills, and proven track record delivering well-designed complex enterprise-class systems;
• Architecting and developing n-tier applications using multiple programming languages and paradigms;
• Expert understanding of supply chain management architectures;
• Implementing solutions in an architecture capacity in the eCommerce industry (3-5 years); and,
• Deep technical knowledge of the SAP Hybris eCommerce solution, cloud technologies and online payment processes for use within eCommerce (2-3 years).

Adding to the above, your knowledge will need to encompass the following:

• Architecture and design of eCommerce solutions (Cloud, APIs, micro-services, omni-channel, etc.) and integration to other solutions;
• Commercial and business understanding of the broader eCommerce and retail services industry;
• Commercial and business understanding of the broader eMarketing and retail services industry; and,
• Software development frameworks and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, TOGAF, etc.).
