    Donor Educator

    Introduction

    • An opportunity has become available for a Donor Educator. The Incumbent will be responsible for educating members of the Public (potential donors) and specifically scholars to assist in ensuring a continuous safe and adequate low risk blood supply, by focusing on building a safe donor base for the future.

    Job description

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Ensures effective Donor Education by educating members of the public (potential donors), and specifically scholars to build and maintain a safe low risk blood supply and donor base.
    • Co-ordinates Peer Promotion Project efficiently and effectively.
    • Implements and Co-ordinates Club 25 Projects.
    • Compiles Monthly Reports accurately and timeously.

    Special Requirements

    • Available to work overtime and flexible working hours and be willing to travel.
    • Cultural diversity sensitivity and issues
    • The incumbent will be required to be on his / her feet for lengthy periods.
    • Own car required.
