Grade 12 or equivalent with 3-5 years as a driver. Valid code 10/14 drivers’ licence with PDP. Candidates must have an unendorsed driver’s licence. Must have knowledge of surrounding hospital, and clinics. Must understand legislative prescripts governing the health sector.
Duties :
Transportation of staff, patient and documents. Report any faults regarding the vehicle, be able to change flat tyre if a need arises. Ensure cleanliness of the vehicle. Conduct pre/post trip inspections before embarking on a trip and after using a car.
Ensure safe and timeous transportation of staff and patients. Be able to work shifts. Ensure compliance with the department of transport handbook. Report any damages on the vehicles within 24hours. Compile an incident report to report damages. Be able to perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor.
