Specific Tasks and Outcomes

Repairing and Testing

• All repairs to be logged onto Job Cards from the Workshop Service/repair Module.
• Repairing all Distribution Boxes as and when required.
• Testing all electrical equipment for faults.
• Conducting fault finding on equipment.
• Assisting with wiring of Generators.
• Conducting Adhoc electrical repairs, within scope, as and when required.

Stakeholder Relationships

• Building, supporting and maintaining interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives

Key Performance Indicators

Performance Criteria

Key Performance Indicator 1

• Completing damage reports and initiating the hospitalisation of assets on the booking system within 2 working days. Once the asset is repaired, ensuring that the asset is available for rental. Anything with international parts will be given a 5-day turnaround time.

Key Performance Indicator 2

• Ensuring that all gear complies with the manufacturers service and safety specifications. Offering technical support during shoots to prevent down time and loss for Production Companies.

Key Performance Indicator 3

• Offering technical support during shoots to prevent down time and loss for Production Companies.

Key Performance Indicator 4

• Keeping track of hospital gear and ensuring specialized items are fixed timeously when there is a high demand.

Key Performance Indicator 5

• Being accountable of spares, especially needed to be sourced Internationally, to avoid last minute purchases.

Key Performance Indicator 6

• Communicating with Supervisor: Store, Dispatch and Receiving and On Set on urgent gear matters to keep hospital items on a minimal.

Requirements

• A National Diploma in Engineering and/or Mechanics?
• A minimum of 2 years experience as an Electrician
