    Endpoint - Software Distribution/SCCM Engineer

    The role

    Your role as part of the Infrastructure & Operations EMEA support team will be to provide 2nd & 3rd level support on the End User Computing service, ensuring stability and compliance of the infrastructure and services in the EMEA regions related to End User and Client Computing solutions. Whilst pro-actively improving and checking the environment, preventing outages impacting users. Handling incidents and standard requests, in accordance to agreed Service Level Agreements with necessary attention to quality and communication.

    You will need to apply rules around change management, documenting changes, communicating and performing in a controlled way ensuring that:-

    • Through configuration management processes, we have a full inventory of the assets and components involved in the services.
    • Compliance of our clients and software is secured by following up on agreed patching, OS and application lifecycle processes.
    • To be a customer centric individual, understanding the customer’s needs, fulfilling or exceeding expectations, taking ownership, being a team player and able to work independently with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Be resilient while coping with the ever changing and moving digital landscape and spread this attitude of self-sufficiency
    • An innovative "there is always a better way" person with a positive, flexible and responsive mindset who embraces and promotes the digital transformation (regardless of age)

    Required Skills And Capabilities

    • Competency is more than ever a combination of knowledge, experience and attitude!
    • You should have a broad knowledge in :
    • Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Management)
    • Windows 10; Office 365; WMI; SQL; Bomgar Remote Control; ServiceNow
    • Software packaging and packaging technologies
    • Scripting languages : PowerShell, VBS Scripting, others
    • General knowledge about Active Directory, Group Policies, logon scripts
    • General PC hardware and OS support
    • Staging process for PC’s
    • PowerBI is a plus
    • Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must
       

    Educational Qualification

    • Relevant higher education or equivalent experience, ITIL Certification, Technology certifications are a plus, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working for a large company would be advantageous.
    • Preference will be given to suitably qualified EE candidates
