Job Description

• A well-established leader in the chemical and manufacturing sector is seeking a skilled and dedicated Engineering Foreman to join their team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a high-pressure maintenance environment and is committed to ensuring operational excellence through effective team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a multi-disciplinary maintenance team to ensure maximum plant availability.
• Oversee the planning and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage workshop resources, spare parts inventory, and external contractors.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize engineering processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an N4 qualification in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance environment.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team management capacity.
• A recognized Trade Test is highly desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial plant machinery and systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
