SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12
• Electrical Engineering Trade
• English proficiency
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have a strong electrical background in Mining Medium-Voltage Electrical reticulation network and systems.
• Medium Voltage certificate
• Competent A (advantageous)

  OTHER SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

• Physically fit and able to pass a medical/fitness test
• Must have a clear criminal record and willing to undergo criminal check
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate without supervision and be able to work under pressure
• Sound Knowledge of Earth Moving machinery
• Be a self–starter and able to work according to targets / deadlines 

EXPERIENCE

• MinimumNoum of 3 years’ experience in Open cast mining

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance within the mining electrical reticulation network and supporting electrical systems
• Ensure optimal TMM utilisation & availability
• Ensure compliance to Safety and Quality policies, procedures, and standards
• Shift line-up and hand-over
• Technical supervision
