Engineering Technician at Cipla

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring that the facilities machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output whilst following safety and GMP Standards. This includes reliability centered maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and instrument equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cater to machine and facility maintenance requirements of pharma block
• Prepare and maintenance engineering documents wrt cGMP and good Engineering practices
• Manage and control planned preventative maintenance system
• Manage and control calibration activities
• Trend and determine breakdown route causes and update ppm's accordingly based on identified causes
• Implement new technologies in the plant initiated by Management
• Monitor present energy use of the plants to identify and report areas for energy conservation.
• Monitor safe operations of the machine as per SOP and timely report any safety deviations
• Maintain the inventory critical spares

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering

Experience

• 5 + years experience in Pharma/ API Industry (Maintenance and Projects)
• Must have experience in selection and execution of processing and packaging equipment Capital Projects.
• Awareness of maintenance for utility & process equipment's of Pharma/ API Industries
• Awareness to energy conservation and industrial Automation.
• Awareness to cGMP and Good Engineering Practices.
• Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in relative field.
• Computer Literate is literacy is a must and preferably Auto CAD.
