Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary - Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth at Mondia Health

You will work in an environment where you will be expected to:

• Assess, observe, monitor and provide information about patient health and behaviour to the rest of the Interdisciplinary Team
• Provide a safe and supportive physical and psychological environment
• To participate in the promotion and maintenance of effective communication of patient affairs such as critical results, handover, concerns during inter-disciplinary rounds
• Educate patients around important aspects with regards to prescribed medication
• Facilitate patient compliance with regards to therapy activities and the daily schedule
• Deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the scope of practice
• Show awareness of the Mental Health Care Act no 17 of 2002
• You will form part of a nursing team that work together with Psychiatrists, Psychologists and other clinicians to combine their efforts efficiently and effectively, and in so doing so achieve consistently good outcomes for patients placed in our care.

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

• Registered Enrolled Nurse certificate
• Registered with SANC
• 2 years or more experience in a Mental Health environment would be advantageous
