Management and servicing of direct personal lines insurance client portfolios. The Service Consultant needs to ensure that there is a balance between the company's business priorities, which includes growth and client retention, whilst adhering to the insurance needs of clients.

Requirements

• 3 Years' Experience in Servicing (Short Term Insurance)
• Matric/Grade 12
• FAIS Credits (min 30 credits in short term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010); or if date of first appointment is on or after 01/01/2010, a full recognised qualification as per the FSCA qualification list.
• FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5)
• 18 CPD (continuous professional development) points for anyone working with two lines of business and KI's.
• Drivers license and own vehicle

Duties & Responsibilities

• Servicing of dedicated client portfolios
• Credit control/Unpaid Debit Orders/Account Queries
• Maintaining and building client relationships
• Delivering excellent client service
• Maintaining and improving agreed client service levels
• Thorough knowledge of short-term insurance products
• Retention of current client portfolio
• Growing current client portfolio
• Identifying cross selling opportunities and provide leads
• Assist clients with claim forms and queries
• Day to Day management/assistance to clients and ensuring portfolio profitability 
• Underwriting on multi claimants/high loss ratio clients
• Processing of Renewals
