Equity Derivatives and Finance Trader at Absa

Job Description

• Reporting into the Head of Equity Finance and Linear Derivatives this incumbent will be responsible for effecting moderately complex equity transactions related to listed stock/equity instruments. Will keeps abreast of developments in stock market, legislation and statutory requirements ensuring that financial transactions, policies and procedures meet corporate objectives and regulatory requirements inclusive of related risk and exposure. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Quantitative field with at least  3+ years’ experience in trading of equity derivatives. Knowledge of funding stock borrow loan and inventory management  with respect to balance sheet optimization, corporate actions and capital management preferred. JSE and SAFEX trader exams and  RPE qualification

Education

• Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
