Ensure the timely flow of materials, information, and products through the production process. The main goal is to prevent delays and keep operations running smoothly. The incumbent requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Must be fluent in English (read, write, speak)
Computer literate in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and SAP.
Knowledge on SigmaNest programs advantageous.
Good knowledge of Carbon and Stainless steel products.
Able to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be a team player and have excellent people skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between operations according to the SAP schedule.
Updating and maintaining all line items on SigmaNest products and SAP.
Co-ordinate and control single item orders as well as kit orders.
Oversee on time delivery against lead times and inform all necessary stakeholders of any delays.
Housekeeping on the ERP SAP system.
Actively manage WIP report to ensure orders where stock is available not to exceed the lead time.
Ensure orders are cancelled with urgency and job cards have been retrieved from the warehouse.
Follow-up on job cards not printing.
Ensure that orders meet required deadlines.
Generate loading instructions.
Offer outstanding customer service (internal and external).
