    Factory Planner

    Position Summary
    Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the successful incumbent will be part of the Co-manufacturing team, s/he will be responsible for the following:

    • Provide consistently short term finite capacity-constrained production plans with feasible and realistic sequenced materials in accordance with the availability of resources (production lines/ labour) and materials.
    • Report back to all planning and manufacturing partners on its status.
    • Ensure availability of raw and pack materials availability including imported commodity materials according to stock keeping parameters that will support production plan.

    A day in the life of

    • Create feasible detail production plan taking into account capacity constraints for material, packing and processing.
    • Continuously improving planning method targeting full pull-planning.
    • Operational Buying experience is important and essential
    • Follow-up daily production schedule via DOR meetings and update planning if necessary.
    • Run MRP calculation, ensure availability of R&PM, resolve the issues with suppliers for deliveries
    • Ensure optimum stock levels for R&PM (usage of RPIO)
    • Manage packaging orders for receiver markets (domestic & IMS)
    • Follow-up blocked & obsolete materials, freshness of materials, take actions for to prevent write-off due to shelf life problems.
    • Follow-up corrective actions with suppliers to match quality standards.
    • Prepare destruction forms when necessary.
    • Maintain necessary master data and follow up workflows in the system for semi-finished and R&PM.
    • Manage call-offs for materials required.
    • Resolve the issues related to blocked, parked invoices for quantity related problems, clear PO

    What Will Make You Successful

    • National Diploma / Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain , purchasing, procurement or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 -5 years’ experience in supply chain, Purchasing or Procurement environment./market
    • Good communication and leadership skills.
    • Very good analytical skills
    • APO Planning System experience is a must
