Job Description

• We have a Warehouse Clerk role based at the Airport for our JHB Airfreight Branch

Education

• Matric

Knowledge and experience

• 1 years working experience in logistics (airfreight) environment
• Basic product specific freight handling and storage requirements
• Loss control principles – basic
• Risk management principles – basic
• Relevant sections of OHSA Act regulations
• Verbal Communication
• Written Communication
• Logical thinking
• Planning & organising
• Situation analysis & problem solving
• Judgment and decisiveness
• Analytical, Initiative and proactive
• Computer Literate (MS office, Shipshape)

• Control the receipt, handling, dispatch of freight
• Process freight movement documentation
• Health and Safety
• Comply with the requirements of the quality management system.
