Fertility Consultant at Next Biosciences

Degree and Educational requirements:

Minimum:

• BSc Honours in Human Genetics
• Or BTech (Clinical Technology) in Reproductive Biology
• 2 years sales experience in a medical or diagnostic field

Preferred:

• MSc or higher qualification in Human Genetics or Reproductive Biology
• Previous experience in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)
• Proven medical or diagnostic field sales track record

Skills required for the position:

• Sales driven.
• Ability to interpret relevant clinical studies and communicate key messaging in-field.
• Ability to conduct peer-level scientific discussion with HCPs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication as the candidate has to engage with HCPs in person, via video calls, telephone and email.
• Excellent people skills with the ability to listen, communicate and relate to others.
• Detail-orientated work habits, strong organizational behaviour and the skill to work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
• Proficiency with current technology and software applications.
• Willingness to travel locally per quartera

Key Accountabilities:

• Achieve and/or exceed set Sales Targets per promoted product for the National Fertility portfolio
• Meet monthly Key Performance Indicators aligned to achieving performance output
• Secure meetings with all HCP’s identified by the Next Biosciences Product Marketing Strategy including but not limited to: Fertility Specialists, Embryologists, Gynaecologists, IVF Nurse Coordinators where applicable at targeted hospitals, clinics, and practices to educate and update all stakeholders on our products and services
• Take accountability and responsibility to build positive client relationships with all targeted Healthcare Professionals
• Liaise with all internal stakeholders on necessary feedback from in-field
• Partake in and present at internal Journal Clubs
• Keep abreast of relevant local and international guidelines and emerging research and literature related to the Fertility product portfolio
