Purpose

• To ensure the optimum performance of the off-site ATM cash replenishment and maintenance operation.

Experience and Qualifications

• Grade 12 or Certificate or Degree.
• 3-4 years related experience .

Responsibilities

• Achieve net profit growth for business
• Reduce Rand value of ATM differences as being the total of absolute net shortages plus absolute net surplus as reflected on the General Ledger of the ATM Network by arranging and controlling cash checks
• Achieve Scorecard Profit results in the Business Scorecard of the ATM Business
• Manage costs / expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies by verifying the Custodians' Auto Card and cellphone accounts and recoup private expenses where necessary, monitor the monthly expenditure of the Custodians' Tool of Trade vehicles and check and verify the correctness of overtime, standby and call out allowances and other expenses claimed by the Custodians.
• Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions.
• ATM availability measured by means of the ATM reports. Benchmark 98 % uptime (excluding uncontrollable downtime due to mechanical defects).
• Ensure that there is adequate ATM stationery and facilitate the ordering of stationery if required to ensure efficient service to ATM users.
• Ensure the prompt response to and correct handling of Call and Standby Service calls by the ATM Custodians and implement and oversee the afterhours stand by duties for the custodians.
• Monitor and remain within ATM cash limits by implementing cash management controls to minimize unnecessary overnight cash holdings and coordinate and control the ordering of cash for the replenishment of the off -site ATMs through SBV.
• Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
• Ensure that the control of keys, combinations and alarm codes complies with Group Forensic Audit's requirements by conducting regular spot checks on ATM off sites to ensure that routine and security procedures are being complied with
• Monitor the compliance of the Service Vendors (BYTES and BMS) to the SLAs with regard to their response to ATM faults log
• Plan and co-ordinate the daily cash loading sequence and route planning for the off -site ATMs with specific focus on security procedures and efficiency and supervise and coordinate the activities of the ATM Custodians and ensure that they comply with the ATM Custodian Procedures Guide.
• Collate, manage and report on daily / weekly / monthly operational progress as aligned to strategic objectives.
• Ensure appropriate skilling and adequate capacity of team members for the adherence to operational and service standards.
• Manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies.
• Manage personal and Team Management development to increase own skills and competencies for the Team Leader function and future Managerial growth opportunities.
