    Field Sales Specialist - Modderfontein

    Your role:

    • An opportunity has opened up within BioMonitoring East Europe/Middle East/Africa team, and we are looking for a Sales Specialist to manage the dynamic and high-potential Gauteng Inland territory in South Africa. This role will have the responsibility of the sales for the microbiological portfolio to the Pharma-, Food and Beverages manufacturers and contract labs.
    • You will be responsible for the business in your territory based on your direct activity, that of the Account Managers, and the dealers, to support and develop the customer base. You will follow-up customer projects with efficient time management and will provide the highest level of technical information to meet the customer expectations. As a Sales Specialist you will develop long-term relationship with key customers as well as identifying new business opportunities.

    Who you are:

    • Proficiency in English, with other South African official languages and or French an added advantage
    • Tertiary Degree in the Sciences (min. BSc Degree)
    • Food/water and Pharma microbiology skills
    • Territory and business field proficiency
    • Existing network with business unit and relevant customers
    • 70+ % of time in field
    • Highly Collaborative within a Team Environment - thinks beyond own target & area
    • Excellent knowledge of the business unit -specific products, systems and digital tools used (e.g. Office 365, SalesForce…)
    • Willingness to travel
    • Resilient & enjoys working in an agile environment
    • Self-Motivated, Independant, and accountable for their work outcomes
    • Strong communication, selling, negotiation and presenting skills
    • Valid Driver's license
