Final Storage and Dispatch Supervisor at Rand Refinery

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO

• Receive finished product from Fabrication and Refinery department for packaging, final storage and dispatch.
• Check and verify product received from internal and external suppliers against SAP, with specific attention to the weight and serial numbers of products and associated boxes.
• Notify Foreman (FSD) of any errors picked up in the serialising, numbering, weight deviation of bars and boxes of products.
• Conduct daily stock check and verification against SAP with Foreman (FSD).
• Update stock report daily after all shipments have been completed and verified with Foreman (FSD).
• Manage allocation and storage of finished product as per instruction from Foreman (FSD).
• Preparation of shipments and associated documentation as per instructions from Foreman for local and international sales.
• Conduct quarterly verification for stock take periods.
• Housekeeping and compliance to safety, health, environment, quality and risk standards.
• Complies with and ensures that all health and safety rules are met and acts pro-actively by addressing any safety concerns which may be harmful to self or other employees.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A completed Matric qualification.
• A National Diploma/ Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Must have acquired at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role/ environment. 

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES

• Intermediate computer proficiency in the following applications - MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and SAP.
• Supervisory and leadership skills.
