An exciting opportunity exists for a Financial Manager to be a part of the finance team within a fast growing multinational and international technology service provider.

The role will contribute to driving Financial Discipline through the development and implementation of the accounting systems, benchmark policies and procedures and reporting accurate and timeous financial information to enable decision-making and support the organization in its rapid international expansion.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience of working in a group reporting environment and with a good amount of financial statement consolidation experience. The role is further unique as the Finance Teams are also expected to work closely throughout the broader organization and will have regular contact with clients, suppliers and executives across the Group.

Roles & Responsibilities would include

• Delivery of efficient, accurate and on-time monthly financial information and management accounts.
• Take responsibility for the preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly consolidated management reports as well as assisting with the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.
• Analyze and interpret data in order to provide financial management information for decision making.
• Responsible for connecting with a portfolio of clients and becoming a trusted advisor through nurturing and understanding our clients’ needs and coaching as required.
• Preparation, reconciliation and consolidating of monthly group transactions (including foreign currency transactions and inter branch/company), e.g. royalty reports, provisions accounts etc. and as required.
• Assist in digitizing and innovating around finance systems and automation of processes
• Assist with the annual group audit preparation, including audit files, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documents, compliance and attend to audit queries, ensuring unqualified audit reports
• Assist with preparations of quarterly and annual financial statements for the group (individual entities and consolidation), balance sheets reconciliations, supporting documents and movement for the period
• Assist with the calculation and submission of monthly statutory returns to the various Revenue Authorities and tax compliance for all group companies, including our foreign branch and subsidiaries (VAT, provisional tax, dividends tax, annual returns, tax compliance certificates)
• Responsible for managing, controlling, recording and consolidating group fixed assets - ensuring accuracy of fixed asset register and that they are fully insured

Candidate requirements

• Registered CA (SA) (required)
• 3 - 5 years PQE
• Relevant experience with regards to financial statement consolidations andor group reporting
• Experience using AccPac, Sage 300 and BPM is beneficial.

Salary Package

• R650 000 - R720 000 p/a
