Key qualifications for the Financial Accountant:

• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance (Essential)
• CIMA qualification or equivalent preferred
• 2–5 years of experience in financial services, particularly insurance or a related industry
• Strong grasp of general accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and payment processes

Key duties for the Financial Accountant include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and draft financial statements in compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Oversee payment processing and ensure accurate bank reconciliations
• Maintain general ledgers and ensure consistent accuracy across accounts
• Support audits and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial reporting
