Financial Controller at MCC Label

The Role

In this key role, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing the team to ensure high levels of both technical skills and camaraderie
• Monthly Financial Reporting to management
• Representing the finance department on Manco level & provide in-depth financial analysis
• Providing support to the GM and other departments as a respected Business Partner
• Developing and implementing financial strategy to drive profitability
• Ensuring timely finalization of monthly results in line with corporate guidelines
• Preparing annual/quarterly budgets and forecasts
• Preparing annual labour/machine rates
• Working closely with our Shared Service Centre (SSC) to:
• Manage working capital requirements and associated reporting
• Prepare monthly cashflow forecasts
• Manage Capex projects and calculate return on investments
• Review and maintain compliance with Internal Controls and identify areas for improvement

The Person

To succeed in this role you will have:

• Experience of managing and developing a team, which operates efficiently and effectively
• Minimum 3+ Years’ experience as a finance manager in the manufacturing / FMCG industry
• Minimum BCom Finance Honours Degree (CA or CIMA preferred)
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and other financial legislation
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong analytical skills and capable to work under pressure
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• SAP, Radius or any other manufacturing ERP knowledge advantageous
