Financial Manager at Motus Aftermarket Parts

The main purpose of the role is to:

• Manage the Finance staff to deliver the overall financial performance of the Wholesale Division
• Support the Executives for Procurement, Wholesale Sales, Operations and Supply Chain
• Responsible for budgeting and planning alongside executives and divisional managers.
• Ensure MAP SA are integrated and all local and foreign creditors are accurately paid in accordance with the terms.
• Provide Analysis to the business on product costing, margin, and expenses in Wholesale and Operational expenses.
• Co-ordinate and integrate Wholesale into 1 revenue stream with meaningful cost centers at an agreed point of time.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Finance or Administration
• CA(SA)
• 10 years experience
• Total arithmetic competence
• Comprehensive command of Spreadsheets
• Dignified written and verbal communication skills.
• Work with little or no supervision
• Strong organizational, co-ordination and collation skills
• Deadline orientated / motivated.
• Clear criminal record

Key Performance Indicators includes, but not limited to.

Group Costing

• Manage, improve, and streamline import standard costing across MAP SA with costing team.
• Liaison with shipping and ASN costing register management.
• Bring in charges analysis.
• Cost and GP analysis.

Group Creditors

• Manage all creditors payments for MAP SA with creditors team.
• Ensure all suppliers are paid in accordance with their payment term.
• Creditors ageing management.

Bank and Cash management  

• Ensure bank recons are all done, checked, and signed off timeously.
• Ensure bank reconciliations are clear of ageing items.

Wholesale Sales and Operations budget and forecasts

• Work with Sales and Operations executives on budgets and forecasts.

Fixed Assets for wholesale division

• Maintain and manage divisions own Fixed Asset registers.
• Fixed asset management with by branch.
• Ensure Fixed Asset register is up to date and accurate by branch.

Stock Obsolescence 

• Manage Stock Obsolescence across the entire MAP SA.
• Work with divisional heads to reduce obsolescence.
• Draw new policy to suit the business.

Reporting

• Reporting on results across the channel
• Ensure that on time accurate results are delivered timeously.
• Send out management packs in in line with deadlines.

BSOP’s

• Ensure branch operating standard at branch are adhered too at each branch.

Adhoc Investigations and projects

• As required to investigate and provide adequate solutions.
• Consolidating Wholesale into 1 division with cost centres.
• Design reporting specifications for month end and flash.
• Phase in the new reporting requests from divisional executives (Operations and Sales
• Implement project timeline the route profitability.
