    Financial Modeller (French Speaking)

    Financial Modeller (French Speaking):

    We have an opportunity available for Financial Experts with proven Financial Modelling skills, French language skills and relevant experience related to the financial aspects of partnerships and advising governments. Your position will include building financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various industry-related operating metrics.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or similar, in line with Financial Modelling
    • Experience in a similar role in Sub-Saharan Africa
    • Strong quantitative experience with designing and reviewing financial feasibility studies and other supporting analyses
    • Knowledge of the private sector health care provision in Sub-Saharan Africa.
    • Financial Management experience with planning, forecasting and business analysis
    • Advanced Excel proficiency - minimum 4 years practical experience in building and maintaining financial models
    • Working experience as a Financial Modeler within the HealthCare industry
    • French and English communication skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with management to understand the scope and use of the forecast and to provide a project plan with key deliverables
    • Determining the optimal method for forecasting, taking into account the context of the forecast, availability of data, the degree of accuracy desired, and the timeline available.
    • Conduct competitive and consumer market research to uncover ratios and trends ultimately used to inform the forecast.
    • Gather and analyse numerical data
    • Present findings in such a way that it ties takeaways to clear recommendations to partnerships and governments.
