    Financial Reporting Coordinator

    Job Description
    As a Financial Reporting Coordinator, your focus will be the delivery of consolidated financial statements by completing integrated reporting, external results and distribution to the relevant stakeholders.

    • Reporting on structural changes within the Coal South Africa business and ensuring compliance with the relevant reporting standards forms part of the role
    • Ensure that risks are reduced and mitigated by documenting processes, providing clear audit trails and continuously driving efficiencies in creating templates to ensure reporting requirements are met
    • Provide advisory role to the Finance Systems team, draft, test and implement changes to the Groups consolidation systems and underlying ERP due to the changes to IFRS standards
    • Ensure compliance with relevant ethical, control related and other requirements as per relevant JSE and LSE regulations, as well as the policies and procedures required by the Anglo-American plc and Coal South Africa group
    • Contribute to the development of the budget for the department, identify opportunities for improved cost management with applicable action plans to the broader business to optimize overall results

    This role is in the Finance Department at Band 6 level and will be reporting into the Financial Accounting Manager
    Qualifications

    • Honours Degree in Finance or related discipline (NQF Level 8)
    • CA(SA) Qualification
    • 6-8 years IRFS financial reporting
    • Experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements
    • Experience within a JSE or LSE listed company would be advantageous
