The incumbent will be responsible for controlling and reporting on the status of the food safety system and results analysis/interpretation to ensure that all quality and food safety processes are well documented. This position reports to Quality Assurance Manager. The job holder must have at least an NQF Level 6 qualification in Food Technology and or Micro-biology with a minimum of 4-5 years experience in quality assurance, micro laboratory functions, test methods, and managing food safety systems in an accredited plant.
Responsibilities
Enforce and adhere to all FSSC 22000 requirements.
Writing and implementation of food safety related SOPs, WIs, Check sheets and Policies
Analyze samples and produce reports for confirmation of food borne bacteria from food/ meat and meat products
Coordinate and manage customer complaints.
Compile and manage Quality Index; Hygiene- and micro reports.
Drive completion of internal audits, and Procedure Audits.
Motivate quality and food safety standards, provide relevant training on applicable standards.
Manager and Co-ordinate CPAR system
FSSC 22000 fully implemented and maintained.
Qualifications
