Forklift Driver at African Oxygen Ltd

What you will enjoy doing:

• As Forklift Driver, you are responsible for operating the forklift in accordance with all legal, Afrox and quality control standards
• Conducting  daily checks on the forklift as per the checklist before use and planning of daily duties at hand and as per picking lists is an important part of your working routine
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards on site is part of your responsibilities
• You load cylinders according to the picking list and sort to and from the LPG and Oxygen filling docks
• You correctly stack and store stock by product type for return to supplying Afrox branches
• As you implement all Line manager's reasonable requests, you conscientiously adhere to all Afrox Safety standards and comply with PPE requirements for each work area

 
Minimum Requirements:

• You are in possession of a matric certificate
• You are in possession of a legal driver’s license
• You have a sound knowledge of welding products and gases
• You are energetic, self-motivated and disciplined
• Cross cultural communications,  partnership building, information sharing, and customer focus belong to your strongest competencies
• As a team player, you possess great communication skills as well as a good command of English
• A strong willingness to work shifts and overtime when required is present
