We work closely with South Africa’s leading franchise brands to help entrepreneurs open, grow and take ownership of successful businesses. This role exists to turn franchise opportunities into well‑structured, well-assessed funding deals that work for our clients and for us. We need someone who can make sense of complex information, apply sound judgement and move opportunities forward with confidence.

What you’ll do
Control the franchise funding pipeline by hunting and closing opportunities that drive rapid growth of the Business Bank’s franchise portfolio.
Put together end-to-end funding applications for franchise clients, from first discussion through to approval.
Assess the commercial and financial strength of franchise businesses and ownership changes.
Work closely with franchisors, franchisees and our internal teams to gather, verify and analyse information.
Use established benchmarks and tools to ensure deals are consistent, practical and well-motivated.
Prepare clear credit proposals and communicate outcomes and conditions to clients.
Keep a close eye on quality, turnaround times and client experience throughout the process.
What we’re looking for
High‑energy, results‑driven professional and confident communicator, comfortable engaging and influencing franchise operators.
Strong experience in credit assessment, financial analysis and business deal structuring.
Experience preparing and motivating credit applications end to end.
Confidence working with business clients and multiple stakeholders.
The ability to analyse information, challenge assumptions and explain your thinking clearly.
A relevant commerce or finance qualification is preferred.
Franchise experience is an advantage, but not essential.
