About the Role

Responsibilities

• Collaborating within LexisNexis' Technology and Information Systems Department as a seasoned fullstack Web Developer, contributing to an innovative legal product highly favoured by legal professionals.
• Working as part of a team dedicated to developing legal risk quantification features.
• Developing new functionalities for our applications.
• Maintaining and support existing applications.
• Engaging in ongoing efforts to enhance code quality.
• Designing and implement new features across our suite of applications.
• Ensuring the stability and performance of existing applications.
• Participating in initiatives aimed at improving codebase quality.

Requirements

• Possess bachelor’s in computer science or a related field or a solid technical background.
• Display Proficiency in PHP 8 (Symfony or Laravel) and JS (Vue.js 3 or React/Angular).
• Have Familiarity with TypeScript, or a keen interest in learning it.
• Be Proficient in Git for version control.
• Have Adherence to best development practices such as unit and functional testing, code reviews, SOLID principles, and security practices.
• Be Comfortable with command-line interfaces.
