General Assistant - Despatch at Novus Holdings Ltd

Job Description

• Novus Print: Montague Gardens is seeking to appoint two General Assistants within the Despatch department. The successful incumbents will report to the Despatch Supervisor.

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Deliver client requests on time 
• Data capturing which is essential to this role 
• Print and generate packing stickers 
• Gathering and packing of printed material
• Maintaining safe occupational health and safety standards 
• Ad-hoc tasks include general housekeeping and general assistant duties required from time to time

Educational Requirements    

• Grade 12 or equivalent 

Experience Requirements    

• 1-2 years' experience in a FMCG despatch environment will be advantageous

Skills and Competencies    

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Show initiative to improve the work environment 
• High attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy 
• Safety consciousness 
• Be physically fit for the work environment 
• Computer literate, basic knowledge of CAD 
• Able to work under pressure
