General Worker at Phakisa Group

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Clean work areas, machinery, and equipment
• Support drilling, blasting, or excavation teams (under supervision)
• Transport materials within the mine (manually or using basic equipment)
• Follow instructions from supervisors and artisans (e.g., fitters, electricians)
• Help with basic maintenance tasks
• Ensure tools and equipment are stored properly
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and mine regulations
• Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or incidents immediately
• Highly physical , labour intensive environment 
• Work is conducted outdoors , exposing assignees  to varying wheather condition
• Nature of work requires individuals who are physically fit and resilient 
• Clean criminal Record
• Available immediately 
• Grade12  /Matric 
• 2- 3 years experience
