Gig Rig Supervisor at RCL Foods

• RCL Foods is recruiting for a driven, highly energized and customer focused Gig Rig Supervisor within the baking business unit.
• The suitable candidate will be responsible to drive promotional truck or other vehicle over planned routes or within an established territory as per planned activation schedule. 
• This role will be based in Durban and reporting to the Sale and Distribution Executive.
• This role is a Permanent role

Minimum Requirements    
Education and Qualification

• Matric
• Driver’s License Code 10 & PDP 

Experience and Training 

• 2 years’ relevant driving experience

Duties & Responsibilities    
To ensure the timeous commencement of committed promotions.

• arrive at nominated customer half an hour before planned promotion.

To ensure that reporting procedures are adhered to and that documentation is maintained

• record daily giveaways allocated
• record giveaway recipients at each activation
• record and report sales daily at each activation 

To ensure the efficient operation of the promotional vehicle

• when vehicle is maintained within scheduled parameters.
• vehicle checklist to be completed on a daily basis.
• when the vehicle cleanliness is at an acceptable level

Responsible for brand collateral

• operation of sound system
• ensure responsible use of brand collateral/POS

To ensure effective and efficient return of collateral/stock

• when promotional stock is returned that it is authorised by sales manager

To promote Sunshine to potential customers at daily activations

• to maximise sales by engaging with consumers at daily activations
• interact with customers to gather insights

To maintain a high level of organization and leadership in the team

• when promotional team is loyal to Sunbake and take pride in the appearance, accuracy and standard of work
• when team members are led to a high level of productivity and efficiency
• when work is well organized and actioned in priority
