Global Lubricants Supply Chain Manager at Puma Energy

The Global Lubricants Supply Chain Manager is responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class processes to manage Puma Lubricants Manufacturing and supply chain in most cost-effective and in a safely manner. Working closely with strategic suppliers, toll-blenders and setting up clear and consistent SLA’s and other important KPI’s /Ratio’s.

• Developing and implementing best-in-class processes and practises to optimize and improve entire manufacturing operation. Setting clear KPI’s to measure and report on progress.
• Building strong relationships with chosen blenders for Puma Lubricants globally to ensure a most cost effective operation. Regular reviews and audits on the agreed processes, HSSE and deliverables.
• Responsible for correct product formulations updates and coding and working closely with the Global Lubricants Technology Manager. Correct Implementation of global harmonization process and update Technical Data Sheets (TDS) as well Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) were needed.
• Implement new Lubricant products (SKU’s) on-time, updating labels and packaging and informing countries on time-lines.
• Manage and confirm 3-4 month forecasting and ordering from countries to Toll-blenders.
• Manage the logistic process from toll-blender to countries. Building strong relationships with logistic providers and developing and implementing cost-effective solutions. Agree and implement defined Ratios such as SLA’s and (D)IFOT and measure and report monthly.
• Setting up SLA’s with Toll-blenders and monitoring them monthly and agree mitigation plans if necessary.
• Build strong relationships with all suppliers (additives, base-oils, Packaging, etc) and put a strong cost-discipline (negation) in place.
• Provide monthly performance reports. Managing and rationalize the number of SKU’s and inventory Management in countries.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of business experience.
• Senior role as plant manager from larger organizations for minimum of 5 years.
• Supply Chain Manager for minimum of 5 years.
• Preferably experience in similar positions.
• Managed a team of people.

Skills

• Understanding of supply chain management – Lubricants experience would be advantageous.
• Tribology.
• Knowledge of diverse Logistic solutions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
