Minimum Requirements    

• Must be a South African Citizen
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in business administration (BCom), Supply Chain Management, Transport and Logistics, Procurement, Operations Management, Accounting and Finance or related field at NQF Level 7 or higher from an accredited institution of higher learning
• Postgraduate business qualification is preferred
• Average grade of 65% or higher
• Driver’s license and own transport will be advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities    

Includes but is not limited to the following:

• Conduct research on suppliers, prepare RFQs, and analyse pricing and contract terms to support sourcing initiatives
• Assist in spend analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance supplier value
• Participate in supplier management and relationship-building efforts, gaining insights into sustainable procurement practices
• Provide data analysis, reporting, and documentation support for procurement activities
• Engage in project-based learning with guidance from mentors and coaches to deepen your understanding of procurement’s strategic role within Unitrans
