    Graduate Trainee - Graphic Design & Knowledge Management, Johannesburg

    Overview 

    • You will learn about WFP and its culture through real-life work experience and we will provide you on-the-job training and performance feedback to kick-start your professional career.

    STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education:  An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any of the following disciplines: Graphic Design, Digital Design or related field.
    • Qualification's must have been obtained within the previous year (2022) or current year (2023) with an academic average of at least 75%.

    Language:  

    • Fluency in both oral and written communication in the UN language in use at the duty station (English).  Knowledge of French and/or Portuguese will be an added advantage.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

    • Professional formatting i.e page layout, designing and branding of knowledge products, reports, banners and contribute to raising KM awareness across the region using WFP guidelines and design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Publisher, and illustrator.
    • Support the production and synthesis of evidence products based on WFP Editorial Guidelines in RB and COs and ensure that they are easily available.
    • Assist in developing a repository of information webinars, documents, guidelines in EGB units.
    • Develop and apply monitoring framework to assess the demand for and utilization of Knowledge sharing systems (channels) as well as products and assets.
    • Support content management for RBJ Knowledge Management Hub.
    • Assist the implementation of RB KM action plan.
    • Technical skills and know-how in the use of IT systems including, InDesign, Tableau, Illustrator, Publisher, and Photoshop, Microsoft TEAMS, SharePoint.
    • Perform other related duties as required.
