About the Job

• A contemporary and enterprising property and hotel group is combining expertise in the property, tourism and finance industries with entrepreneurial management systems to create original and sustainable tourism ventures. They are looking to hire a young and ambitious Group Financial Accountant to support the CFO in taking responsibility for the analysis and management of all financial and reporting activities related to the finance function of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts & Financial Reporting with insightful commentary on variance reports.
• Assist with the preparation of exco management reports with commentary reports.
• Take full responsibility of the External Audit & Preparation of Annual Financial Statements for the entire group.
• Manage and prepare the monthly and annual budgeting & cash flow forecasts of the group.
• You will be responsible for regular coaching and mentoring of direct and indirect reports.
• Provide the Finance Department assistance with complex queries.

Candidate Requirements:

• Registered CA (SA) is highly beneficial.
• 3 - 8 years post articles experience.
• Experience in preparing Annual Financial Statements would be an advantage.
