The Group Leader of Asset Management will ensure optimal technical and financial performance of PEG’s solar PV plant portfolio, and will fulfil the role of Owner’s Representative in all PV solar plants built under Phelan Energy Group
The Group Leader of Asset Management will be accountable to fulfil Owner’s requirements to any lenders & Equity share holders
Accountable to ensure PEG fulfils its obligations to Environmental, Regulatory & safety bodies in each market where applicable
Primary Responsibilities:
Remotely monitoring all plants SCADA to identify and address any issues immediately and reaching out to the specific site team to ensure there is a remediation plan in place
Managing various contracts such as land lease agreements, plant O & M, management service contracts, security & PPA
Management of EPC & O&M contracts and monitoring on site activities on day to day basis
Lead the wider Asset Management team in the various markets to ensure Asset Management are fulfilling all responsibilities and monitoring day to day activities
Accountable to maintain full record of all maintenance activities and action items/issues across all assets and track progress of same meticulously
Accountable for annual, quarterly and monthly performance reporting Vs key metrics for all assets
Responsible for developing asset management processes and standards for Solar PV to best international practice
Accountable for annual and quarterly financial budgeting i.e. Opex budgets
Accountable for monthly Energy Export Billing & collecting the payments
Co-ordination & manage visits to Owners, Owners Engineers, Lenders & Various 3rd party members to site
Manage all sub-contractors & or Vendor Management
Management of Site Administration – maintenance – records
Lead all Line managers, contract manager, Site manager & administrative manager and all their performance tasks
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Power/Project Management
5+ years of experience in Renewables preferably in Solar or Wind
Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power-point and project
Highly self-motivated and results-oriented
Advanced Negotiation and execution skills
Ability to work cross-functionally
Flexible to travel internationally at short notice
